I guess im due for a nice long facebook speech now after having an entirely busy but amazing weekend. My weekend started off on Thursday with 2 trips to the airport to pick up some very important guests. Auntie Anne and Uncle Robert 1st and then my brother Justin (Matthew) and his woman. After an evening of entertaining and a family supper we all called it a night. Friday I got to pick up my fancy rental car and then my brother and bestman Andy. After frantically looking for a replacement suit due to the fact that he left his in Toronto we we started our crazy day of running around. Last minute preps happened and then a very successful rehearsal thanx to our great Officiant Bianca from AllSeasonsWeddings. We headed over to Gargoyles for our rehearsal dinner which was supposed to last only and hour or so but unfortunately thats where we hit our very first major snag. We headed back to the hotel to set up our chair covers and thanks to a small army we had that done in a few short minutes. The morning of our big day I was met by a few very late and groggy but eager groomsmen to help me set up what was left of our decorations. The entire day went off with out a hitch. We were both very impressed by the staff, organization, and food of the Victoria Inn (vicinn). To my best man Andy - You definitely stepped up to the plate for me. I appreciate all your hard work and even though you kept pushing the tequila shots on me I managed to keep standing and get through the day. To Justin - I cant express enough gratitude for you making such a long trip. You took on just as much of the hardwork as Andy and made sure I was cool, calm, and collected all day right from coffee to shut eye. To Owen - Thank you so much for taking on the job in my time of need. You too helped a whole lot and even provided some pure entertainment through your magic disappearing acts and your confused were on the wrong floor comments! To our MC Jordan - Thank you for doing such an amazing job. Teagan and I chose you becuz of your outgoing, humorous, and personable attitude. Right from the start we knew that you were absolutely the right choice and judging by the comments weve heard all day from a lot of our guests last night I know we werent wrong. To the maid of honour Kaila - Even though there is a large distance between us you really stepped up and helped with some of the planning, prep, and even decorating. You did a fantastic job on the signs and I cant thank you enough for turning our vision into reality. To Alex - you may or may not know this but I really appreciate all that you do/did for Teagan and I this weekend. To Candis - I know that you were likely suffering from a severe anxiety attack but there was absolutely no need for it - You were amazing, you looked amazing, and you took on a huge job. Teagan and I are both grateful that you took charge on the care (and control) of my kids. To all the Juniors (Brookelynn [Acadia], Dakota, Josh, and Andrew) - I couldnt have asked for a better group of kids to lead my wife down that aisle. You were all well behaved and cute as buttons. To Gail and Dwight - I said it last night but its worth saying again. You knew nothing about me - But you put your trust in me! You demanded that I take care of your little girl and I hope I didnt let you down. You welcomed me into your home and into your family and I couldnt be any happier about all of that. Im very ecstatic to be able to call you my mom and dad now too. To my mom Debbie - You have no idea the gratitude Teagan and I have for you this weekend. Youve supported our relationship from the get go including helping me move her into my apartment and helping us break the ice by letting me dog sit Max ;) To all of you - With the help from all of you Teagan and I have had an amazing relationship thus far and now thanks to all of your help with this special day our lives together can only get stronger. I love you all! Now, to my Bride - Teagan Scott - From the day I first talked to you I knew you were different... Although you werent originally intended to be my wife ;) I grew to love you more and more. Everyday with you is an amazing adventure from our crazy love for pets to our crazy obsession with difficult hikes, from our rediculously long drives to our rediculously cheesy lines and actions.. Im glad I met you, Im glad you came on that first date, Im glad you moved in, and brought me with you to Western Ontario, Im glad you said YES!!! You went from being a random message on facebook to being my wife. I cant wait to spend the rest of my life with you and create many more adventures. I love PLUS you !!!!
