One of Jesus chosen 12 disciples, who betrayed his Master to the chief priests and elders for 30 pieces of silver. He was one of the chosen disciples, the inner circle who was close to JESUS, Yet his betrayal brought about Gods plans for JESUS Death, burial and resurrection. We have many people within our inner circle in which we trust; Family and friends in whom we feel comfortable around, BUT, there are those whose false portrayal as a friend in which one trusts will almost always betray you as Judas betrayed JESUS ... It could be a friend or even a Family member. Once they betray you, it changes your outlook towards your ability to trust someone. Betrayal can hurt you ... it can break your heart or even mentally or emotional well being. However just because one betrays you, doesnt mean that everyone within your inner circle will betray you, although in some cases they feel the sting of your betrayal because you seem to feel that you cannot trust anyone ... Sometimes it takes time to heal ... But wise is the person who was betrayed to seek God and His Holy Spirit to forgive the betrayer as JESUS Forgave Judas ... Forgiveness is the key to inner healing ... But, like Judas, once he betrayed JESUS, he lost his membership so to speak within JESUS inner circle, so should your betrayer ... Forgiveness doesnt mean that your betrayer remains in your inner circle. Forgive him/her and move on in your life ... Dont even keep them in your inner circle ... let them go as JESUS let Judas go. Sometimes God who knows all and sees all, knowing what is best for us will allow betrayal to happen just to get them out of our lives because IF they remain, we will feel a greater sting than just betrayal ... So, You were betrayed ... Accept it as JESUS did ... Forgive as JESUS did ... and MOVE ON IN YOUR FUTURE so you can heal as JESUS did ... In every situation in lifes process we must ask ourselves, WWJD (What Would JESUS DO) in that situation.
