Selfs die SAPD het gisteraand op n "GPF" vergadering gese dat hulle moeilikheid verwag. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ANC to march against ‘racism’ at Hoër Volkskool Around 3000 members of the ANC and it’s alliance partners Cosatu and the SACP, are set to march to Hoër Volkskool to protest against what they deem as ‘racism’ at the school. The march, which will also be supported by the South African National Civic Organisation (SANCO) and the Lesedi Education Forum, is scheduled to take place this coming Friday, during which the marchers hope to hand over a memorandum of demands to a representative of the department of education. According to Sandile Mathebula, a member if the ANC executive committee in ward 3 and one of the organisers of the march, the marchers are set to gather in Jacobs Street behind the town hall at 09:00 on 23 August, after which they will proceed to Hoër Volkskool to hand over the memorandum. The march follows yet another incident at the school where white and black learners were apparently involved in an altercation. This apparently led to the suspension of 15 learners...
