Bollywood’s reigning diva, Deepika Padukone is on a roll. The actress is believed to have bagged the Hollywood actioner Fast & Furious 7 and apparently plays a significant character in the pacy thriller that also stars Hollywood tough guys Jason Statham and Dwayne Johnson. The actress is learnt to have started with the paper work, and if all goes as planned, it is likely to take six months for the contract to be completed. Says a source, Deepika auditionaed for the role a few weeks back, along with Kangna Ranaut and Chitrangada Singh. Buzz is that, the casting agents who came to India in search of talent, apparently asked for someone “slender and statuesque”. And thus the meaty role landed in Deepy’s lap.
