Box Step-Up #FitnessTipThursday Equipment Needed: Step Mirror (to monitor form) How to Perform • With good upright posture, place one foot on step and gently draw belly button inward toward spine. • Step up onto box using a moderate pace. • Keep knee directly over second toe and hips level at all times. • Slowly reverse movement and lower yourself back to ground. • Repeat 8-12 times, then switch to other leg. Hints • Use a mirror to watch your form. • The step height will depend on how strong and stable you are. If you cannot keep knee over second toe throughout movement, use a lower step.
