Boy there sure do seem to be a lot of idiots out there, was trying to figure out how to size dog shoes & I found 1 page where a couple of people said that dogs dont need clothes of any kind & another comment that said it was animal cruelty to boot them. Sydney my Setter wore sweaters in the winter & she was extremely happy to have them, she would shake like a leaf when she didnt have 1 on & after the 1st few times of having it put on she actively helped put it on from that winter on. Some dogs/breeds DO need clothes, maybe not those poofy frufru dresses, but they do need some type of protection from the cold, like it WOULD be animal cruelty to take a hairless dog outside in the cold without something on, short haired dogs need clothes too, I wouldnt worry too much about long haired dogs unless they start shaking, if they seem cold get them a sweater or a dog blanket.
