Braised chicken Wash and pat chicken dry. Season with salt, pepper, and dry red pepper flakes In a pan heat up some olive oil and sear chicken until golden brown. Remove chicken from pan and set aside in a baking dish. In the same pan used in searing the chicken, toss in some sliced onion and caramalize; then add some chopped garlic, and sliced cherry tomatoes (use the regular one if you dont have cherry tomatoes) along with some sliced mushrooms and carrots. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes and sautee for two minutes then add some meat stock and in a small bowl mix a tbsp of flour and warm water and make a paste. Pour the paste into your pot with the meat stock and onion mixture and stir. Remove from heat and pour into the baking dish containing the seared chicken... (if you do not own an oven, just put chicken back into the pot with the mix and turn on low then cook for 20-25 minutes. Add water if the mix is too thick) if using the oven, set the baking dish with everything in the oven at 450 for about 15minutes.
