Breaks my heart when Kea comes to me crying because his supposed friends are acting more like bullies than friends. Yes, my son is bigger than the average 10 yr old, but that doesnt define him. I wish more parents taught their kids that words hurt and can potentially be fatal...yes, fatal. My kid feels alone and It kills me, but all I can do is remind him of his wonderful qualities, be a shoulder to cry on, and a voice of empowerment.
