Brentwood Community Transport (BCT) is an accredited training - TopicsExpress

Brentwood Community Transport (BCT) is an accredited training centre that provides MiDAS (Minibus Driver Awareness Scheme) driver training. MiDAS is a nationally recognised certificate. It is an assessment and training scheme for minibus drivers in the voluntary and not-for-profit sectors. The training provides both classroom-based theory and practical driving assessments for all minibus drivers. Additional training on passenger assistance and the use of wheelchair accessible vehicles for drivers who will be transporting passengers with disabilities is also provided. Regular refresher training is a significant element of MiDAS and in order to retain their MiDAS Certificate, drivers must attend refresher training every four years. This training also provides skills development for volunteers as well as future employment opportunities. You must be over 21 years of age and hold a full (not provisional) current driving licence. Some restrictions may apply. For further information, please contact [email protected] or call BCT office on 01277 228080
