I did not want to put this book down and read it in a few hours. This book is easy to visualize and reads as if a movie plays in your mind (consider a movie... For real). These are characters I will forever remember. The events in the book represent life. I see myself in the role of Sophia. Going through life, the motions. This book inspired me to step back and think of the actions I need to take to live. Not just talk about living but living life to the fullest. I kept thinking, what if this was me? This could easily be me. Do I live with no regrets and love as if there is tomorrow? Yesterday the answer was no. Today the answer is: I have changes to make so I can reply yes to that question. I remember seeing this book and not really thinking of buying it (not even on my wish list). The title didnt really sell me (because of the song with the same title that I want out of my head), and the cover didnt convey what I now know what the story is about. My advice to the author is, market this book by sharing what others say about this book. Great reviews make people take chances on books. Once you give readers the experience, they will remain loyal. I will now stop when I see a book is by B N Toler. After reading the story I sent my friends a message telling them to trust me and read this book ASAP! When one of my favorite bloggers recommended this book and I finally read the blurb I immediately purchased the book. This book is my top read so far for 2015. I then immediately wanted to read more from this talented author and purchased another book. Im sold and will continue to follow her work. If you read this book then I guarantee you the same. I have kept up with authors speaking about their frustrations with how the business plays out. In spite of that the past year has been the best year for reading phenomenal books that have been highly recommended. As a busy wife, mother, and employee who returned to my love of reading in late 2012, you want quality books to spend your precious time reading. I lost sleep reading this book. I say all of that to say, read the reviews because ordinary people like me dont write reviews unless the book is superb. I have only recommended 4 books to my personal friends since late 2012. This book is one of the four. Enough said.
