Bringing in the New Year by celebrating the great music I heard last year. I am counting down my 25 favorite albums of 2014. Share your favorite albums in the comments below. Now Im down to the top 5, and I will say that there hasnt been a clear favorite album for me all year. Of the top 6 albums on this list, the number 1 spot would go to whichever one I happen to be listening to at that time. But, as it stands today, this is the order I will present them to you. Here is No. 3: The Preatures; Blue Planet Eyes. From the first time I heard their first single, Is This How You Feel, somewhere around the first of the year (2014), I new that this would be one of my favorite pop/rock songs of the year. It has such a great groove, and soulful vocals by the lead singer, I couldnt wait to hear more from this band. I was really hoping that the band would be able to be more than just a one hit wonder, though. When their full length album came out I was surprised to discover that the brilliant single was only the doorway into the powerful pop grooviness of a very well rounded, complete, excellent debut album. The more I listened to this great album, the higher it rose on my list. This IS how I feel, and this felling will not likely fade away anytime soon. https://youtube/watch?v=M8XmoroZ3zo
