Bringing in the Shabbat is special time in my house. It is that - TopicsExpress

Bringing in the Shabbat is special time in my house. It is that day in the week, where we dont have to be anywhere and my daughter and I use it, to bring in the Shabbat with praise and worship! Her favorite form of worship is dancing for the Lord, so thats what we do on Friday nights. As she dances for the Lord, I always feel so honored, to have a front row seat to witness the glory of God. As she fills our home with dance and worship, my mind is always in the past, present and future. As she leaps in the air with so much passion, I am reminded that they said she would never be born and there she is praising he, who gave her life. As we hold hands twirling about, I remember that is preparation for her future, for her ministry. I am humbled that God would in trust me with such a wonderful job. I get to lay the bricks for her future, I get to invest all of me, into a wonderful miracle created by God and my praise grows with hers as she teaches me what she feels I lack. Since the womb she danced for the Lord, so I make sure to put all her instructions into practice and we dance, for hours we dance. Our dance always ends up in prayer, she and I on our knees praying to the God that has so greatly blessed us. I always think, these days are treasures that my heart will never let go of and then I am reminded that when she is grown, she will remember the memories we made, all those memories will be locked in her heart and one day she will share them with her daughter. One day, my daughter and her daughter will dance for the Lord, as we once did. My hearts feels over joyed to know that this memory wont stop here but it will live on for generations to come. My labor of love, will live on.... Thank you Jesus, for blessing me so well, 18 years I waited for my daughter never losing faith and the daughter you gave me is better then anything I could of ever dreamed of.
