Passing Thyme Cafe in North Nowra: As one of their regular customers, today I went in to this establishment and ordered and tried to pay for my usual breakfast only to be told they would not serve me and gave me back my legal tender of $50 and that they were not a bank!!! I was flabbergasted and embarrassed by how they treated me! I rang the owner regarding this matter when I got home, for most of the call he talked over me or was completely dismissive of me but he asked me if I had read some sign under the cash register and then he told me that I had disrespected his staff by giving them a $50 note!! I said that they must be doing well if they can turn away customers to which he replied well have a nice day and then he hung up on me!!! So as you can tell, I will never return there again because of their rudeness and terrible customer service!!! All this owner had to do was to offer me an apology.
