Brinks is a 16-pound Shih Tzu mix who knows he’s in a shelter with the big boys. He’s putting up quite a bravado show and that’s landed him a black mark in the form of a New Hope Only rating. Brinks has the potential to be a laid back, dreamy boy but he’s very scared at the shelter. He was found as a stray but he probably lived all of his 3-years in the safety of his home. We don’t know how he got out - whether by accident or whether someone showed him the door - but now the shelter plans on killing this little sprite tomorrow at noon. Brinks’ terror will turn to sheer anguish when he reaches the Euthanasia Room. We can stop the humane transgression simply by finding a home for Brinks and asking the owners to work through a New Hope Approved partner.
