British diplomats and officials might soon have to apply for visas to SA The South African news agency, News24, reported that the South African Home Affairs Minister Naledi Pandor said that British diplomats and other officials visiting South Africa might soon have to apply for visas before they enter the country. This information came to light in a written reply to a question in the SA Parliament. This move reportedly comes in the light of the fact that South Africans, including state officials and diplomats, have to apply for visas to enter the UK since 2009 and that Britain seems to be reluctant to lift visa requirements for South Africans, despite the introduction of a new redesigned SA passport with security features and a stringent issuing process. Minister Naledi Pandor also announced earlier in 2013, that the SA government was considering visas for visitors from the United Kingdom. 4UKVisas will keep you up to date!
