Brody, this gorgeous two-year-old was adopted from ACC a little while ago, then found chained to a fence. Just another wonderful direct adoption on the part of ACC... Now his life is in danger and he desperately needs an experienced foster or adopter to save him. A volunteer writes: Brody was found stuck to a fence, a heavy chain hanging from his neck. He is a beautiful and elegant Oreo dog, slightly on the thin side who is relatively well groomed and carries himself nicely on the walk. I like the way that even scared, he does not avert his eyes and looks into mine, like for comfort. Brody is a bit skittish and hand-shy although if I persist, he accepts caresses and even seems to relax his body under them. Brody is tense in the care center. He comes right away to his door when I come for him. He is leashed easily and off we go to the street and then to the park where he seems quite at ease, happier to smell freedom and in the company of a human who seems to care. Brody even accepts a treat that he would not touch at the care center. He sits now by my side as I settled on a bench. Brody seems content, glancing from time to time at me. I see peace on his face. I doubt Brody had a very happy life before to come to our facility. It is about time that he knows life as a pet, cared for and loved by a forever master.
