Brookfield now moves on to the District 8 Championship game at Burlington Field next Friday night against the East Buchannan Bulldogs. East Buchannan has a rich history as a top rated Class one team with plenty of playoff experience. This year they moved up into Class two and so far seem to be continuing their great play against the Class two schools. Friday night will see a battle between two unbeaten teams with identical 11-0 records. Something’s got to give and I think our Bulldogs have what it takes to pull this one off. It will take a great, focused effort on our part because East Buch runs a no huddle, throw the ball all over the place offense that has run up the score on almost every team they have played this year. Last night they beat a good St. Joe Bishop LeBlond team 58-34 in semi play. This Friday night is a must see game. Help us fill the stands and sidelines for this one. Our Bulldogs deserve and need everyone’s support in this huge District championship game!
