Brunch... Im frequently asked how Willow can live uncaged and free in my home, yet my furniture still be standing... See that 3 ft. black walnut tree branch...leaves and all, Willow will devour an entire tree branch by the time he goes to sleep each day - plus all of his meals, treats, chews, and snack and a few long play times to keep him busy and burn some of his endless energy. Trees are packed with nutrition, from vitamins and minerals to fats. The leaves are eaten, the wood is turned to toothpicks (good to wear down and brush his teeth), the bark will be gobbled up, and the pulp and sap in the center of the wood will be thoroughly consumed (his favorite part - they need natural sugar to fuel their rapid metabolism)...leaving me only the dry wood splinters to clean up and all my furniture and woodwork still standing. Side note: He does get the furniture from time to time, but its pretty rare and he knows he isnt supposed to. It is nearly Always My Fault! Like, if Im late to go cut him a branch or he wants attention and Im stuck on the phone.
