Buhari: Vote Me For An End To Corruption The APC presidential flag bearer, General Muhammadu Buhari, took his campaign train to Katsina yesterday, assuring the gathered crowd that when elected, he would address the challenges of corruption, unemployment and security. Speaking at the Filin Polo venue of the campaign rally, General Buhari said his administration would focus on three key sectors, including tackling corruption, revamping the health sector, and transforming the security situation. He identified the three areas as the ones he had been his emphasis since he commenced his campaigns, and called on his supporters to ensure that their votes count on the day of election. Addressing the gathering, former Lagos State governor, Bola Tinubu, insisted that Buhari was the only person capable of bringing the kind of transformation the country needs. He chided the PDP for attempting to divert attention by raising baseless issues about the general’s school certificate. Tinubu said that the conduct of the military over the Buhari’s qualification saga was a clear attempt by President Jonathan to destroy the army, and asked whether Nigerian army recruited and promoted General Buhari to all ranks without a certificate. He insisted that the issues at stake was not about Buhari but the move to salvage the country from the grip of those destroying it.
