I have not been posting for a while as I was getting familiar with the fellow board members on Bear Mountain Parks and Recreation District. I am currently writing a Public Arts Policy for Sand Diego Park and Weedpatch Park, to declare both parks as public mural space. This would include and party structures, concrete benches and any free wall space. The idea is transform our parks into public arte space and invite trusted artists free space for murals. Two walls at San Diego Park will be designated rotating walls that would change on a monthly or bimonthly process. Art work would be approved before changing.
