As a software build engineer joining the Trust Services Build Group, you will have the opportunity to play a critical role within the engineering team. The role involves administering and improving our automated day-to-day build operations, utilizing development tools and processes, producing reliable products and reproducible releases. Responsibilities • Administer Subversion and CVS software repositories, branching and merging code lines • Configure software build scripts for continuous integration; assist developers with resolution of any build failures • Configure scripts to produce software release packages for test and production deployment. • Configure, deploy and update agile planning, defect tracking, static analysis and reporting systems • Tenacity and the ability to work on your own initiative to resolve issues encountered. Qualification • Demonstrable capability with scripting in both the Windows and Linux environments. Perl and/or python capability highly desired. • Experience performing branch and merge operations in Subversion for a previous employer. • Experience writing Ant and/or Maven build files • Experience reading and debugging Java code. • Exposure to continuous integration practice desirable. • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, or commensurate professional experience.
