Bulletin: One Officer killed And One Wounded In Shootings That Claimed Three Lives: The shooting of a teenager in his car was the first incident of a very violent night in the city of Norfolk. A seventeen year old was shot and killed in his vehicle. Thirty five year-old police officer Brian Jones, responding to the scene, was shot multiple times by the killer. An off-duty officer responding to the scene, 28-year-old Curtis Allison, was also shot. The suspect was later shot and killed by police officers. Officer Jones died at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. He is survived by his wife and three children. Our thoughts and prays are with the family of our slain officer.
