Burutu Community in Burutu LGA, Delta state severely flogged a boy for pasting Elder Godsday Orubebe Governorship Posters in the town. The community leadership alleged that Orubebe is not a human being as he failed woefully to develop at least the Burutu Community where he started his political career as a Ward Councillor and later the Local Government Chairman before he became a minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria since the YarAdua era in charge of developing the Niger Delta. The people said that they prefer a Delta North candidate who will answer the cry and calls of the Ijaw People to an Ijaw man who will enslave the people the more. Some angrier women in the community also said that the Ijaw people of Burutu LGA expect nothing good from Orubebe as Governor just the same way he treated them as a minister. They said Orubebe if he likes can settle the big men from the area but they will firmly stand as one people to oppose his Governorship
