From Agile methodologies to mobile applications to software as a service (SaaS) delivered from our private cloud, we push technologys boundaries to build scalable, elegant solutions that help investors reach their financial goals. The Role: In this role, you will elicit business requirements from internal and external users and create requirements documents, use cases, GUI mockups, testing scripts, and other artifacts as needed. You will work closely with members of the IT team in all facets of the software development life cycle. Responsibilities + Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs. + Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal stakeholders and act as a liaison between the stakeholders and the IT team. + Collaborate with developers and subject-matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze trade-offs between usability and performance needs. + Collaborate with QA analysts to determine testing strategies and assist with their implementation. + Successfully manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, working both independently and as part of a team, within a fast-paced environment. Requirements + A bachelors degree in information systems or a related field. + Three or more years in the business analysis field developing requirements, including a strong background in using UML (use cases). + Excellent spoken and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group including executives, managers, and subject-matter experts. + Strong analytical skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements. + Experience working with large datasets using SQL and the ability to write complex SQL scripts both for external clients and internal users. + Experience in the finance industry is a plus.
