Business Manager, Deposits & Remittances Location: Dubai, UAE Job Description: •Manage the retail liability portfolio across segments to ensure effective product management, innovation & profitability. •Manage the remittance business across segments to drive innovation & profitability Key Result Areas •Manage the P&L for liabilities - balance growth, sales, attrition control, revenue and expense management. •Develop a strategic plan for liabilities & remittances to become a dominant player in the market. •Make available superior products, either developed internally or negotiated with outside suppliers, to customers. •Use the marketing budget judiciously to develop effective advertising and promotions. •Directly manage the portfolio movements of monies across different liability products to achieve the overall balance sheet goals. •People management – motivate people to deliver desired goals and behaviour. Train them to take on higher roles. •Manage the revenue line coming from remittances & FX services •Expand customer base remitting through the bank from different channels •Open new channels to increase remittance volumes & revenues •Establish a strategic framework to enhance the remitting base – both from existing as well as new-to-bank customers •Work closely with the segments & distribution channels to ensure the volume & revenue objectives are met. Desired Profile •12+ years experience in the Retail Bank with cross product and cross functional experience •Good understanding of P & L drivers of the business •Excellent interpersonal and communication skills •Good leadership qualities to manage a team of Product Managers •Strategic Orientation •Decision Making •Customer Focus •Commitment to Results •Commercial Awareness
