Busy day of grass roots organizing in boyle heigts on soto, marengo, 4th street, 6th street and first street. Organized in south central on slauson, figuroa and hoover. Going to organize in el sereno, lincoln heights, cal state la areas tonight along with south central and southwest la areas and downtown la areas. Yea landlords doing crazy things in Boyle Heights I offered to help families like an old chicano family originally from Maravilla projects in east la who now live in marengo/soto. I have good relationship with Housing project families a trademark of my organizing. reality is so many poor families just do not understand the rights they have after I told them the rights they have they felt better. I keep a notebook on renter rights and resources it worked out good on this.
