Busy start to a busy month. My wonderful friends at Emeritus of Greenville, memory care unit and I shared a dynamic morning-hour of fellowship and music to start the day! Some clapping and knee slapping going on for sure and, in the words of a very special resident, Zerr Gut and Tres Bien! After lunch I made my return to Woodlands at Furman for memory care unit (debut) at 2, assisted living community at 3 and I focused my presentation of a return to the basics.....golden age classics, patriotic melodies and songs of faith and praise. Pleased to announce that Woodlands has re-booked me into these two units monthly thru at least remainder of the year with additional pre-planing for the occasional independent lifestyle community presentation and/or holiday special event, dates TBA! I am happy to have finally found some footing with Woodlands of Furman, I have worked hard to negotiate these monthly bookings following four preliminary appearances which began in May. Looking ahead to my next debut - The Gardens Assisted Living Facility, Greenville.
