But God forbid that I should glory, save in the Cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world. (Gal 6:14) For all his leadership/ministry success, Paul gloried in one thing, and one thing only...the Cross...Christs redeeming sacrifice...do we ? In ministry, focus is everything...fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author & perfecter of our faith... (Heb 12:1-2). Many leadership teachings today sound more like a business seminar than the teachings of Scripture...principles have their place, but not at the expense of His, nor of His manifest Presence...in the words of Bill Johnson those who desire principles above Presence seek a Kingdom without a King... Lets keep Jesus, and His Cross at the centre of everything we say and do.
