“But, I don’t believe in God.” That’s the comment I got - TopicsExpress

“But, I don’t believe in God.” That’s the comment I got on Facebook the other day and I have been thinking about it ever since. I realized that this faith in God that I have didn’t just come overnight, and certainly it’s not like a switch we can turn on or off to believe or not to believe. In fact, after writing these posts for two years now, I don’t write about what I believe anymore, I now write what I KNOW about God! And I know that we don’t need to stress life because we go with God, as He’s constantly with us, guiding and directing our paths! It’s not what I believe, it’s what I know, my guys! I still can’t get over the new manager that I recently hired! There I was all the way in in Nigeria and constantly tempted to worry how I would find a new manager to help us run our business in the U.S.! But, every time those thoughts of worry came, an overwhelming feeling would always comfort me as if God was telling me, “Don’t worry, I got this!” I get to the U.S. and the very next day, someone hands me the resume of someone who he thought was perfect for the job. We called him and within an hour he was there and those feelings of peace came letting me know that this person that I was to hire! I trusted those feelings and without interviewing anyone else, and even against my husband’s advice to not rush and hire anyone, I hired him and after two months everything is working out great! I was so impressed with him this week that he convinced a customer who lived miles away to purchase from us. The customer left the first day without purchasing, but drove again the next day to come back to us, leaving and passing so many other places on the way to us! I love what the customer said to him as to why he did that, “I don’t understand it, but I just felt comfortable doing business with you.” And that pretty much describes how I feel about him too! How long will he stay working with us? I don’t know, but one thing I’m now learning is to just take life one step at a time! Rejoice and trust God always! Live kindly, love extravagantly, forgive quickly, pay attention to those feelings and KNOW that …. WE ROLL WITH GOD!
