But Williams is really writing a third kind of book which belongs to neither class, and has a different value from either. He is writing that sort of book which we begin by saying let us suppose that this everyday world was invaded by the marvelous.-C.S.Lewis. The works of Charles Williams are strange, fascinating, well written, his theology shines through,and they are a very powerful read. I am really looking forward to re-reading his novels The Place of the Lion and The Greater Trumps. Now though I am looking forward to getting some rest after a busy day at work.
