But my problem is d fact that the National Assembly that has failed their constituencies are bent on hijacking d polity for their selfish interests.. They argue that there is a sovereign body which is the national assembly but I stumbled on SECTION 14 of the 1999 constituition that says the SOVEREIGNTY of the state resides with the electorate.. If they ve reali represented the people, who would even b bothered abt a National Conference, let alone a SOVEREIGN National Conference.. My people, they want a National conference so that what-so-ever con-sensus reached, the recommendations wud stil b subject to analysis, and you would agree with me that they wud definately screen out any part of it that seeks to undo their unneccessary grip on the polity.. But a SOVEREIGN Natinal Conference is not and would not b subject to the analysis of the National Assembly as whatever consensus reached would automatically b binding on all Nigerians, that is of course if we decide to remain as one coupled state cos it would b d law made by you and I for You and I.. That is the difference betwen an ordinary national Conference and a SOVEREIGN NATIONAL CONFERENCE..this is why they ar afraid... Let us unite as the youths of this country, here within Nigerian shores and in diaspora to demand in solidarity for a SOVEREIGN NATIONAL CONFERENCE that would make laws and rules of engagement for you and I and would undo the grip of the military elite on the Nigerian youths... Do u knw we can shut dis country down because of our number..? We are much and if we eventually rally round we can do many things and set the future right for ourselves by ourselves..
