But no need to worry. The Nikkei is up, Japan is still exporting airbags, and everythings fine (unless youre one of the 99%). Abenomics is a rousing success - or if not now, at some indefinite time in the future, it will be. Honest. And yet this self-deluded, almost sociopathic, narcissistic bully and his gang of thugs continue to enjoy 50% approval ratings. The hope is that expectations of higher prices will lead consumers and businesses to spend more, helping to sustain growth. Yes indeed, I will be spending more quite soon. But it wont be in Japan, since my savings are worth less and less daily, in global as well as local terms.
