But then what of the passages changed by translators errors? Or verses that are not the word of God rather personal interjections of the writer? Historically the bible has been mistranslated and edited by those who held power before being handed down by the masses. Should I then not take it with a grain of salt? Or place it back into its proper historical context? I do not believe that my critical thinking is "pick and choose" rather me doing my best to find the truth inside of the word.
