By Brian Bowie I dont post a whole lot on facebook but this Sunday with Thansgiving coming I feel the need to give thanks. First of all I would like to thank all my friends and family . I have a wonderful family , the absolutely best wife in the world who is my best friend , my soulmate , my confidant , my partner in crime , my everything . I have 2 beautiful biological daughters , and to all my other children who even though I may not have physically had a hand in your creation, know that I love each and every one of you . I thank God I have been blessed with many beautiful grand children , great parents , a great brother , and all of my other wonderful brothers and sisters ,you know who u are and I love each and every one of you . I especially give thanks that I was blessed with the ability to entertain , there is nothing in the world like it . My band and I have been blessed to have FANS , and i mean true FANS . For an entertainer there is nothing in the world that compares . with all due respect to any musician or casual observer of what we do and the way we do it , and may not appreciate it , sorry but we are not doing it for u , we do what we do for our fans . They keep us on the cutting edge , they keep us current , they drive us , they inspire us to deliver the very best in sound , production , and cutting edge musical technology . Our fans deserve the very best that we can deliver and there is no tool, technology , software , no piece of musical equipment that we can get our hands on that we will turn up our noses to , no genre of music that we feel is beneath us . Lastly I would like to thank our musical mentors . When you see us perform you are seeing the lessons that world class musicians taught us . The Dazz Band , Sekou Bunch , who we worked with very closely taught us lessons in professionlism that they bestowed upon us, and what is to be a band, that has sustained us all these years over, 35 actually. The knowledge that they bestowed was a blessing that helped us put food on our tables while doing what we loved . Of course we had many other great mentors in the buisness , but I have to especialy thank The Dazz Band on the live tip and Sekou Bunch in the studio . To have an opportunity to work and learn from musicians who have worldwide respect and KNOW how to do this is something that is sorely lacking in the cleveland urban music scene .
