By way of reminder...since theres been so much its getting tough to keep track. With no notice President Obama flew Afghanistan to surprise our troops; a few days later, without congressional knowledge let alone oversight the Bergdahl-for-4-HVTs swap went down. Two days later Obama appears with Berdahls parents, his father says a prayer to allah -in perfect Arabic- standing on our White House steps. The initial White House explanation for the drastic move was because Bergdahls health was failing. Pictures (from the Taliban) then begin showing up on the internet showing Bowe looking pretty darn healthy ...of proper weight, etc. A few days later the offical White House story changes to we had to do this w/o congressional knowledge b/c the Taliban threatened to kill Bergdahl if congress was notified. Why the Taliban cared about our congress knowing was never made clear.
