CALL FOR CHAPTERS Dear all, This is to inform you that the deadline for abstract submission for the book entitled South Asian Partition Fiction: Trauma, Memory and Narrative has been extended till 30 December 2014. I would like to be a little more specific than before regarding the themes to be explored by contributors: a. Psychoanalytic Trauma Theory of Cathy Caruth et al and Partition Fiction b. Collective Trauma Theory of Alexander et al and Partition Fiction c. Postmemory, Collective Memory and Generational Transmission of Trauma d. Collective Remembrance and Forgetting e. Repression of Memory and Its Resurgence g. Capturing the Unrepresetable, Inarticulable and Unknowable h. Narrative Techniques Used in the Partition Fictions to Represent Trauma i. Traumatic Memory and Its Cultural Repercussions as Represented in Partition Fictions. These themes are to be explored with reference to any partition fiction written in English.
