I’m doing a project for school where I have to collect data and assess the percentage of local residents that have prepared themselves in the event of an emergency happening. This can be a natural disaster (like a major earthquake) or a man-made disaster (like a terrorist attack). I’m collecting info from my family and friends to get a better idea of how big of an issue this is and to come up with alternative ways to get the community more involved and more prepared in case a big emergency were to occur.
