CAN YOU UNDERSTAND IT? ALWAYS BE OPEN TO TRUTH ABOVE ALL! One must have a strong desire and pray that God will show Himeslf through scriptures who Jesus is. God is a SPIRIT who cannot be seen and occupies all space. (Jo. 4:24). Gods spirit also is fire, light and without being manifest IN an angel or in a person like the Old Testament men who appeared to represent Him, His light, brighter than noonday sun, (Acts 26:13): can burn you to charcoal, from its brightness. So God in Old Testament manifested Himself in things like a column of fire or spoke from a cloud, or even by a donkey. Even Moses could not look on God as He is, but God answered his prayer showing him Jesus on the mount of transfiguration centuries later, Jesus who is the express image of God. (Heb. 1:3) A person is VISIBLE, occupying a body in one location and can be touched, seen, heard etc. but unlike a spirit that occupies much space. (II Cor. 4:6) On earth Jesus spoke of himself as of His own person, and also as of the Spirit of God, called Father, who dwelt in Him. (Jo14:10) In NT scriptures Jesus is described as according to the FLESH (Rom. 1:3) and SPIRIT (Acts 2:36) for He was both. This simple truth is ignored by many so called Christians. Jesus was the only person Gods spirit begat, (Jo. 3:16) on earth through Mary. She was told that her son would be God with us. (Mt. 1:23) All other Christians can be sons of God, but they are begotten by believing in the preached word with seed for salvation. (I Pet. 1:23) When Jesus was on earth the Spirit of God dwelt inside Him and He spoke as himself in flesh and as God because at times word was given him from the spirit. (Father). It is not confusing for him to say, speaking from the flesh that in a little while you will not see me, and from the same mouth, speaking by the Spirit, say, I will never leave you nor forsake you, and will be with you to the end of the world. The acts Jesus performed were of the Spirit of the Father who dwelt in Him and did the works (miracles) because of himself as flesh He could do nothing. (Jo. 5:19 & 30) God, who is a spirit, WAS IN CHRIST reconciling the world to himself. (II Cor. 5:19) On the cross, taking on the sin of the whole world, Jesus felt abandoned by God, which was true because when he became sin for us, Gods spirit left him and according to divine plan returned to the grave three days later, ressurrecting him in a body to appear and disapear before his disciples and even 500 believers at one time, for 40 days. After He ascended, he was highly exhalted and glorified with power and elevated above all principality and power, to be God himself. (Col. 2:10) All the fullness of the Godhead dwells in Jesus. (Col. 2:9) So both, spirit and man the Glorified Jesus is now one and the Almighty. (Rev. 1:8). A measure of Gods spirit comes into believers who diligently seek Him as in Acts chapters 2, 10 and 19. This Spirit which is Christ in us, will also raise true believers from the dead or change them to a glorified body if alive, to go with Jesus when he returns. (Rom. 8:11; I Cor. 15:52) We have TWO THINGS here, one person and one Spirit, not two persons nor two Spirits but one God who is a Spirit, in Jesus who is now all in all or in post- ressurection scriptures, the Son who made all things. (Heb. 1:2) Pray that God will reveal himself to you, (Mt. 11:27) so this revelation will be a powerful guide and eye-opener when you read the scriptures. People who do not carefully and prayerfully seek to know the mystery of the Godhead (I Tim. 3:16) have to put away their unbiblical preconceived notions, like the false theory established by the Roman Catholic church of the trinity, of God in three co-equal and co-eternal persons. Having eyes blinded by the enemy, (II Cor. 4:4) and holding to that false theory, one will never get this nor will they in their lifetime if they have no desire to discover this simple truth of God in Christ, but will be eternally lost with no salvation. Trinitarism blocks people from simple Bible truth about Jesus as the only true God and the power of Jesus Name in Baptism for washing away sin, (Acts 22:16) and eternal life. (I Jo. 5:20) Believing on who HE is is very important. For if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins. (Jo. 8:24)
