CANCELED- GEORGE & THE DRAGON NAV-SCATTER- WED. 21ST JAN. Dave McIntyre has made the decision to cancel his Nav Scatter to have been held this Wednesday- 21st January. This decision has not been made easily, Dave has been out on the roads in the areas the route clues cover and as the majority of these clue locations are on high ground in the black mountains area the treacherous conditions with black ice and snow making the roads in some locations only passible in a 4 wheel drive. With the forecast for between 3 and 8cm of snow over the next 24 hours Dave Mac has been forced to arrive at this decision. We must respect this decision as he is the one who has been out on the area and he is concerned about the safety of competitors and residents on route. The George and The Dragon Nav Scatter will be rescheduled for April 15th starting from the same venue, The Old Barn with the first crew off at 8.31pm due to the change in hours of darkness. The clues, area and length of time (2hours) will remain the same with crews due back from 10.31pm. Please spread the word to anyone you know who intended competing on Wednesday evening. The next round of the Nav-Scatter championship will be held on Wednesday 18th February. Starting from the Brecon Castle Hotel, organised by myself Mark Weller.
