CARL SHARIF AND HIS SON ERIC DAWSON SHOULD BE PUT OUT OF THE POLITICS BUSINESS IN NEWARK. WE DESERVE BETTER. IN A CITY WITH SO MUCH WORK WE HAVE TO DO, WE MUST REPEL THOSE WHO ONLY SEEK TO DIVIDE AND CONQUER OUR CITY. ANYONE WHO HIRES CARL SHARIF AS THEIR CAMPAIGN MANAGER FROM THIS POINT ON SHOULD BE SHUNNED AND I FOR ONE WILL NEVER VOTE FOR THEM. The election on Tuesday showed that people like Eric Dawson aka Newark Citizen and Carl Sharif are irrelevant and are the real old school politics. They tried every old school, nasty, low down trick in the book to win an election. The crap they did should be unacceptable from any so called progressive candidate for office in a city they claim to care about. Their attempts for me go deeper that just winning an election, they attempted to tear down a true son of our city with lies and negativity and for me that will never be forgiven. Their tactics said to our youth that its ok to lie and cheat and defame each other to get what we want. This from a man, Carl Sharif who talks community but acts destructive to it. Win at all cost is for animals. This election also showed that the Newark voters are more intelligent than Shavar Jeffries, Carl Sharif and Eric Dawson aka Newark Citizen gave us credit for. We did not fall for the lies and trickery: They thought Line A was going to help...FAIL; They thought the County Bosses like Joe D and Steve Adubado was going to help...FAIL; They thought that lying on Ras was going to help....FAIL; They thought that doctored video was going to help...FAIL; They thought that lying about a Councilmans powers over the police was going to help...FAIL; They thought that unleashing a religious cult group to bombard social media was going to help...FAIL; They thought that calling Ras a gang member was going to help...FAIL; They thought that having a foolish past FOP President lie on Ras was going to help...FAIL; They thought that tricking Ministers and pastors to endorse Shavar was going to work...FAIL; They thought that burning down our bus was going to help...FAIL; They thought that calling Newarkers uncivilized was going to help...FAIL. They thought that being endorsed by that dying rag, the Star Ledger was going to help...FAIL. They thought that $3 Million Dollars for media ads was going to help...FAIL; They thought that Ray Chambers, George Norcross and Ted Wells money was going to help...FAIL; They thought that orange stickers over our posters saying BAD FOR NEWARK was going to help....FAIL; They thought that a paid army would be better than a volunteer army....FAIL; They thought that bringing outsiders from New York to put up posters was going to work...FAIL; They thought that breaking into their campaign managers office and trying to blame it on the Baraka Campaign was going to help....FAIL; They thought that disrespecting Ras for being an unmarried father was going to help...FAIL; They thought that criticizing Ras for writing letters for gang leaders who was going to help....FAIL; They thought talking about Ras having 2 jobs was going to help...FAIL; They thought that Shavar flipping from supporting Cami Anderson to making it seem he was against her in the 11th hour was going to help...FAIL; They thought that dissing the unions that supported Ras was going to help...FAIL; They thought that dissing the local media that supported Ras was going to help...FAIL; They thought that tricking people on Facebook by having Carl Sharifs son create a fake profile called Newark Citizen to dupe and mislead people into believing that he was down for Newark when he was really a paid operative for Shavar Jeffries was going to help...FAILED MISERABLY; They thought that creating a IE Group to go against Ras Baraka with millions of outside money was going to help...FAIL, FAIL, FAIL. WE MUST SAY NO TO THIS KIND OF NEGATIVE, LOW DOWN POLITICAL CAMPAIGNING IN OUR CITY IN THE FUTURE. I FOR ONE WILL NEVER VOTE FOR ANYONE CONNECTED WITH CARL SHARIF OR HIS SON ERIC DAWSON AKA NEWARK CITIZEN. I AM ASKING YOU TO DO THE SAME.
