CASTING CALL The project has won funding from Film London in association with the British Film Institute as part of the London Calling funding scheme. Amber Hsu, the writer-director, has written for various theatres including The Royal Court, National Theatre Studios, and Islington Youth Theatre. This is her first short film. 1 Young girl, 2 Young Boys required for Short Film -- Next Tuesday. Does not require any previous acting experience. Paid opportunity. Next Tuesday is a subtle drama about family, nostalgia, and loss. The story revolves around a grandfathers attempt to share a nostalgic moment with his son and granddaughter when they come for a visit after the holidays. We are looking to cast 1 girl (speaking role) and 2 boys (non-speaking roles): 1) GIRL, playing age 4 - 7 years. East Asian mixed race. 2) BOY, playing age 4 - 7 years. East Asian mixed race. 3) BOY, playing age 4 - 7 years. Any race, dark-haired. GIRL must be available for 3 days of filming between 6th - 8th June. BOYS must be available for 1 day of filming between 5th - 9th June. Auditions: Saturday, 24th May in central London - Clerkenwell.
