CELEBRATION OF LIFE We attended the funeral service of our volunteer , the late Paul Gary Tan whose sudden departure left all his friends & loved ones in disbelief & shock. The atmosphere in the air-conditioned auditorium was sombre when tribute was paid by a Roman Catholic Priest from Novena Church followed by 2 very poignant hymns that brought many to tears. It was a heart rending service which will etch deeply in our minds , we will miss Gary and his legacy to make a difference in the lives of the needy will live on. His passing is a reminder for us to take life seriously , have respect for everybody rich or poor and care for them as we care for ourselves. Life can be very fragile , we know not when is our next last breath and we should not take things for granted. As the service continued , aptly selected hymn Turn your eyes upon Jesus echoes the walls of the fully packed sound proof room . When the coffin rolled into the cremation chamber many broke down in despair acknowledging Gary is leaving for a better place . RIP , good memories of you remains in our hearts.
