CEO Doda turns office into money minting center, makes gross violation of MCC: Sambyal BHADERWAH: Taking strong note and expressing serious concerns over the gross violations of Model Code of Conduct (MCC) being in-force immediately after the announcement of elections dates and schedule on the morning of March 5, 2014, NPSU Provincial President Sachin Singh Sambyal has lambasted the Chief Education Office Doda (CEO) Doda for making mockery of MCC by turning the office into money minting center. Sambyal said that despite clear cut directions of ECI, many teachers are being relieved and are joining in-violation of MCC, citing examples, he said that one Teacher Fooraq Ahmed was relieved from Higher Secondary Malothi today and many teachers today and yesterday joined different schools in Bhaderwah zone which he confirmed from a clerical staff member while “some inputs as confirmed by the Sarpanch Nandna in Thathri suggested that about five teachers have been transferred on March 5 despite MCC in force and joined today, even some are joining in back dates under pressure from CEO Doda. Sambyal added that CEO Doda admitted and confirmed to him that transfers were made on March 4th, Samyal questioned that if these transfers were on March 4th, those stands ineffective on March 5 with the announcement of poll schedule and enforcement of MCC, so no one can be either relieved or can join. Sambyal said that reports of allegation are against the staff of CEO office Doda, where Rs 70 thousand are being charged for each transfer through one Teacher Mr Tariq who is on attachment in the office since about last 10 years.
