The Voyager has been invited to be present at the grand opening of The Kelpies The society will be taking Voyager through to Grangemouth a week before the event and will be moving the boat over 2 days( 12th & 13th April 2014). This exciting opportunity allows us to invite members and non-members to come on board and enjoy the chance to sail this part of the Canal and to experience what it is like to go through locks. Day 1 12th April 2014 Meeting at 10am @ The Stables, Kirkintilloch. 10.30am - Departing from The Stables, Kirkintilloch - Voyager will sail to Falkirk and descend 4 locks on the way. Day 2 13th April 2014 Meeting at 10am @ The Falkirk Wheel, Falkirk. 10.30am - Departing from Falkirk – Voyager will sail to Grangemouth and descend 14 locks on the way. On both days, participants will have to make their own return travel arrangements and bring a packed lunch. This event is priced at £5 for members, £10 for non-members.
