CFS is advising that just before 1100pm the fire at Bangor in the Southern Flinders Ranges broke control lines in the Bain Track area and is travelling in south westerly direction towards the townships of Napperby, Nelshaby and Telowie. An Emergency Warning Message and an Emergency Alert have been issued to advise people in the area that this fire poses a threat. More firefighters are currently responding to the area to undertake direct attack firefighting operations to bring the fire under control as soon as possible. SA Metropolitan Fire Fighters are also on standby to assist with asset protection if needed.
