CHEAP ORIGINAL MERCEDES PARTS Dear Mercedes Kawan Kawan, After reading all the threads of communication in here, I feel so sad that many Mercedes Benz owners try to avoid using Original Mercedes parts or avoiding maintaining their cars with original parts because Mercedes Parts are VERY VERY expensive in Malaysia - so many have become clever Mc gyver and become Mercedes Designer and engineer. And then after a while, problems begin to arise and people ask for HELP from others, and it is ALWAYS TOO LATE oledi. So, I have a solution to all of you. If you want to change expensive stuffs and NO money to do that, you can go to Singapore and change !! YES, Singapore !! too far ? NO its not particularly when you can save by the thousand !! its worth it. Let me give you some simple example the savings you can have. for the latest W212 E Class (newest now), 1 absorber cost RM1,800 in Malaysia Original Mercedes and in SIngapore it cost RM750 each. you save more than RM1000 for 1 absorber. So, if you want to change 4 absorbers, you save RM4000+ in total if you buy from singapore original Mercedes parts. For brake pads pulak. for 1 pair depan in Singapore is S$120 for 1 pair and it is about Rm276 for a pair or RM138 each. Kalau di Malaysia to change 4 brake pads it would cost me RM2000+ (including labor of course). So you guys calculate la sendiri how much the Malaysian Parts and Accessories have been ripping Mercedes owners like us. Original COOLANT for Mercedes is RM29 to RM33 per bottle at Malaysia Parts and is about RM80 at Cycle and Carriage. Imagine how much it cost in Singapore for these things. So, in short, whats my point ??? To maintain a Mercedes even new one like mine is very very very cheap. It is like WAJA or Perdana maintainance cost, but the Malaysian people makes it very very expensive and Mercedes become one of the most expensive car to MAINTAIN in Malaya. So guys !! be smart, spend RM400 to go to SIngapore and save RM4000 on your parts. Kalau you have no time to buy in Singapore, you can ask me to buy it, you can send me your VIN number and what parts you need. I can buy it in Singapore and have it delivered to you by Pos Laju (1 day service). You just need to pay for that and it would be much cheaper than buying in Malaya !!
