CHERIE BLAIR FOUNDATION MENTORSHIP PROGRAMME Should Business Engage women entrepreneurs be interested in participating in this year long online programme, please e-mail [email protected] noting your interest and further details will be provided. Over 1800 mentees and mentors from over 55 countries have joined the programme to date. They have become part of a global community of committed, ambitious entrepreneurs who are invested in each other’s success. Mentoring has had a significant impact on many of the women entrepreneurs in the programme. Mentees credit the tailored support they received with being able to launch new products, hire staff, write business plans, implement financial systems, build confidence and skills, gain new clients and keep their businesses afloat. Of mentees who finished the programme by October 2013, 99% of respondents boosted their confidence; 94% built business skills; 93% were able to achieve a business goal; 84% accessed new markets and an outstanding 29% credited mentoring with being able to keep their businesses from going under. The benefits also extend beyond the women’s businesses. Financial autonomy often gives women greater control over their own lives which amplifies their voices in tackling injustice and engenders more inclusive, sustainable economies. The applications for this group close on the 22nd March and only 40 places are still available. If selected, nominees will receive one year of personalised business support, access to a vibrant knowledge-sharing and networking forum, access to monthly webinar series and training platform, a tremendous opportunity to build their business and profile and lots of support from a team dedicated to the programme.
