They are still in surgery with another emergency and will hopefully be ready to start on our girl soon. In the mean time the girls at EVH are having a difficult time getting a IV started for her. She is scared to bits and in a lot of pain. Therefore she is not very easy to be approached by strangers. They gave her a sedation while her owner was still there and said it would work in about 30 mins and Mom could go home because it would be a while until they got to her. Well, the sedation did not work, so the girls put another form of sedation in a meat ball and that hasnt worked either. Hoping that the vet can give something a little stronger once she is out of her surgery. Sorry we cannot give any further updates, however once we have them, we will update everyone.
