CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR I have had more fun with this group in 2014 than I ever anticipated. I wish to thank all of you for your contributions and comments. I get weekly messages from many of our members who thoroughly enjoy our banter and encourage me to keep doing more of the same thing. We do not all wish to comment on articles but that does not take away anything from such members. I cherish this as much as the whit, charm, good humor and high level opinions we also receive. In the 2015 RWC year, we can do so much more and learn so much more. I have toyed with the idea of creating a team of members that can observe specific aspects of each game and report back in a simple structured way. I am thinking of aspects like defense, kicking game, managing the contact zone, fixed phases and leadership. The challenge will be finding the 20% intelligence that explains 80% of the result. That will give us Gamebreaking perspective and teach us things we never thought of. Happy Christmas and a Prosperous RWC 2015 year. May you see all the tackles, scrums, turn-overs, line outs, tries and kicks you dream of seeing and miss the poor decisions, handling errors, foul play and poor sportsmanship we hate in rugby and in life...
