CHRISTOPHER GLENN HODGES 1989 - 2014 Christopher Glenn Hodges, 24, passed away at his home June 30, 2014. A celebration of life will be held Sunday, July 13, at 2:00 p.m. at Pioneer Evangelical Church in Dayton, with Pastor Steve Hopper officiating. Christopher was born in Dayton October 28, 1989, to Robert and Christie (Rose) Hodges. He was raised in Dayton and attended Dayton Grade School, Dayton Jr. High and Dayton High School. After high school, he worked at Goodwill and then went to work with his dad as a drywall contractor. Christopher enjoyed life to the fullest. He loved anything to do with cars and was very mechanically minded. If something broke, he would find a way to fix it no matter what. He enjoyed playing disc golf with his buddies, going mudding in his beloved 4Runner, watching and attending drag races, listening to the oldies and country music, watching Deadliest Catch and working with his dad, giving his mom back rubs, fishing with his brother and being babied by his sister. He loved his family with all his heart. His nephews and nieces were his world. He was known for having a huge, loving and forgiving heart, and a smile that lit up his face. He was a friend to everyone. Survivors include his parents, Robert and Christie Hodges of Dayton; brother, Michael (Rhonda) Hodges of Dayton; sister, Shawna (Nathan) Olberding of Dayton; nephews, Ezekiel, Aidan, Boston and Payton; nieces, Brooklyn and Nadia; and the love of his life, Tara Hodges. He was preceded in death by his sister, Bobbi Jean Hodges; aunts, Cheri Schmidt, Sherri Lowe and Kimberly Rose; cousin, Jennifer Troutman; grandparents, Ed and Ruth Rose and Robert Sr. and Lois Hodges.
